Control of PMSM Based on Switched Systems and Field-Oriented Control Strategy

Starting from the problem of studying parametric robustness in case control a permanent magnet-synchronous motor (PMSM), although robust systems correspond entirely to this problem, due complexity algorithms type, article use switched theory is proposed as study option, given fact that these types are suitable both for with variable structure and significant variation under conditions lower algorithms. The begins by linearizing PMSM model at static operating point continues systematic presentation basic elements concepts concerning stability applying system based on field-oriented (FOC) strategy, which usually changes value its parameters during operation (stator resistance Rs, stator inductances Ld Lq, but also combined inertia rotor load J). numerical simulations performed Simulink validate that, variations structure, preserve qualitative performance terms control. A series Matlab programs presented YALMIP toolbox obtain Pi matrices, solving Lyapunov–Metzler type inequalities, using dwell time demonstrate stability, well presenting phase plane state space analysis evolution vectors: ω speed, iq current, id current.
